- 8 cups Chocolate Chex® cereal
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 3 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, MINI size
- 1/2 cup caramel bits (found by the chocolate chips in the baking aisle -- or chop up regular caramels)
- 1 Tbsp heavy cream
- 1/2 cup MILK chocolate baking chips (or more if you're a huge chocolate fan)
- 1/2 cup vanilla (white) chocolate baking chips
Step One: Into large microwavable bowl, measure chex cereal and set aside
Step Two: Line cookie sheet with wax paper
Step Three: Microwave brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup for 1 to 2 minutes, storing after one minute till melted and smooth
Step Four: Stir in baking soda.
Step Five: Pour your caramel mixture over cereal, stirring until fully coated. Spread on cookie sheet, separating into bite size pieces, let cool for 10 minutes
Step Six: Evenly spread mini reeses over chex mixture
Step Seven: Microwave caramel bits AND whipping cream about 1minute or until chips can be stirred smooth. Use a fork to drizzle over snack
Step Eight: Microwave chocolate chips and drizzle over snack, followed by the white chocolate chips
Step Nine: Refrigerate until set (patience is a virtue it'll be worth it!)
You'll think you've died and gone to heaven!!
